JAM Artist Management

JAM Artist Management is a true giant in the industry, with superstar clients including Tupac Shakur, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Rick James, The Ramones, and Peter Tosh.

The JAM executive team approached Icon Digital in 2010 to design and develop a custom platform which reflected the art and ethos of its legendary clients while clearly presenting the mission statement and services of the company to prospective clients.

We were given full creative latitude on the project. The only pre-existing visual asset was a logo.

We began by creating a digital multimedia archive comprised of the rarest video performances, HD vintage photographs, high-resolution remastered audio files, lyrics, and compelling quotes from each Artist.

We dug through the vaults to find the most captivating material, and we didn’t stop until we found it.

Icon Digital designed a robust, cross-platform, open-source framework that expressed the musical depth and cultural significance of each client via meticulously-curated content and cutting-edge, lean code.

We created custom-programmed jukeboxes which function as radio stations for each artist – as well as a master jukebox that we enjoy rocking out to in the office.

Six years after launch, the site was still live on the web; fully compatible with devices that weren’t yet invented when we launched back in 2010.
