Shout Factory Entertainment, founded in 2003 by three of the principles behind Rhino Records, has grown into a highly successful retro pop culture establishment.
The executive team hired us in 2010 to design and build a platform prototype for GetBack, a online music subscription service that lets fans of live music consume a wide variety of archival audio, video, scholarly content, and browse rare tour memorabilia & merchandise related to their favorite legacy artists.
Icon Digital designed a vibrant digital ecosystem with integrated community features and e-commerce functionality interwoven throughout the site on every page.
We created a vast archive of high-definition multimedia assets for the project, building out an immersive, interactive online experience which outperformed the competition in the digital space at the time.
Icon Digital designed a beautiful online store that made it easy for fans to buy HD audio downloads and physical merchandise.
Five years after launch, we still think it’s one of the most feature-rich music websites around.
