Steve Winwood is a legend of rock music.
From The Spencer Davis Group to Traffic to Blind Faith to his massive solo catalog – we’ve been listening to Steve’s music for decades.
When Icon Digital was given the incredible opportunity to work with Steve back in October 2008, we jumped at the chance.
We travelled to England and began to create a digital archive, working with Steve and his management team to strategize and implement a completely new digital approach.
We wanted to connect Steve’s fans around the world and deliver an immersive, curated, premium digital experience.
We meticulously researched and catalogued every aspect of Steve’s professional career and developed a custom digital strategy that spoke directly to his fans.
Managing the official website, content development, and Steve’s social media channels, we created and executed a highly successful viral video contest which was viewed by tens of thousands of fans around the world.
We designed rock-solid, creative merchandise that still continues to sell online & on tour, 7 years down the road.
